What is Access Control?

In a physical context, access control refers to the practices and technologies used to regulate who can enter or leave specific areas or buildings through dedicated devices.
The main objective is to restrict the access to only those who have the necessary authorization, preventing security breaches and promoting data protection.

lares 4.0 control panel provides access to more than 1000 users, by entering the PIN on the Ksenia keypad or by using RFID tags. In addition, it is also able to communicate with more than 64 user interfaces (keypads and proximity readers), allowing an accurate management of each gate.

Seven levels of management

Each user can be assigned to one of seven different access levels with different privileges: from the Administrator, who has full control of the system, to the lowest level, who can only activate specific scenarios.
Administrator and master users can manage the permissions and configurations of other users through the lares 4.0 App.
Administrator users can add or remove users from the system, while users with administrator and master rights can acquire RFID keys and assign them to users without the need for installer intervention.
