As resident Commercial Business Developer, your responsibilities will be the following:
- Analysis of the market demand and the relevant distribution channels
- Identify potential customers, contact them and create new business opportunities by setting up new distributors specialized in Security & Smart Home applications
- Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
- Foster and develop relationships with customers
- Have a good understanding of the businesses and product portfolio and be able to promote it properly
- Participate in trade shows in the DACH region
Required profile:
- Technical/commercial background with a minimum of 5 years’ sales experience mainly in oriented to the distribution market of goods and/or services
- Business acumen, perseverance and drive to seek new business and meet/exceed targets
- Real knowledge of the security and smart home market (preferred)
- Strong sense of adaptation and conversation at any level
- Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work
- Decision-making and negotiating skills
- Available for frequent travel (mainly in DACH, but not only)
- German mother tongue
- Written and spoken English (minimum level B2)
