We are pleased to present you the first Ksenia Security ‘Sustainability Brochure 2021’!

The importance of doing business sustainably has been at the heart of Ksenia Security corporate culture since its founding in 2010.

All the company’s concrete commitments towards its stakeholders have been defined in Sustainability Brochure 2021: the document has been written with the precious contribution of Deloitte, according to a specific methodology and represents the foundation on which the Sustainability Report 2022 will be elaborated soon.

The document shows that Ksenia Security aims to create a sustainable social, economic, and environmental value, in particular:

1. Employee empowerment and well-being: the company strongly believes in the involvement of people and their constant learning, offering equal opportunities for professional growth.  In addition, it ensures a safe working environment based on the active participation of its employees, openly fighting against social inequalities.

2. Supporting the territory: the company supports the territory and the local community through educational and training projects, donations and initiatives in the social field. Ksenia involvement in local communities also extends to support and closeness to citizens: 75% of Ksenia Security employees come from the province of Ascoli Piceno.

3. Product responsibility along the value chain: Ksenia carefully selects its suppliers and partners according to the company’s founding values; for this reason, it relies on Italian suppliers. In addition, the company believes that it is essential to create lasting relations with its partners based on transparency, respect and mutual trust.

4. Concrete commitment to climate change mitigation: the company promotes the protection of the environment in all its forms. It pays particular attention, for example, to the choice of laminates related to printed circuit boards that must be halogen and chrome free, the use of low-absorption technologies and the choice of local suppliers and partners to shorten the supply chain and minimize CO2 emissions. Moreover, the new headquarters built in 2019 represents a technological reality with low environmental impact that produces renewable energy autonomously thanks to the photovoltaic system installed on the roof.

In order to ensure the protection of the environment, Ksenia is working for the adoption of an Environmental Management System according to UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, which will certify the compliance and monitoring of environmental legislation, the reduction of costs and the saving of resources.

5. Product and customer relationship: Ksenia manufactures reliable products, by using environmentally friendly materials and components. Its solutions are easy to use, of great technological innovation and this is possible thanks to the company’s continuous listening to the needs of the market. In addition, the entire range of solutions is Made in Italy and certified according to the highest national and international standards, ensuring maximum quality and reliability. Customer satisfaction is very important: for this reason, it uses increasingly sophisticated tools, including the “Zendesk” software, which allows you to channel all requests from different sources into a single platform in the form of tickets. Technical training events are also used for collecting feedback from installers and distributors. For this purpose, evaluation questionnaires are provided in order to highlight any room for improvement and take immediate corrective action.
