A new integration enhances the functionality of the Ksenia lares 4.0 system, improving the way people interact…

A masterpiece called Italy. Problems and opportunities of a heritage to be safeguarded, protected and valorized: this was the title of the event held on Tuesday 18 February at the Luigi Mercantini Theatre in Ripatransone. It was the result of our collaboration with the City Hall of Ripatransone and the Enzo Hruby Foundation, which has been working since 2008 to support the protection of Italy’s cultural heritage and to spread the culture of safety.
The event was attended by industry experts and local authorities and was held in the presence of numerous students from the Fazzini-Mercantini high school.
The event started with an introductory video, followed by institutional greetings from the Mayor of Ripatransone, Alessandro Lucciarini, and Deputy Mayor Roberto Pasquali.
Then followed a talk, moderated by journalist Manuela Cermignani, with the participation of Giorgio Finaurini, CEO of Ksenia Security, who discussed the role of current technologies for the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage, presenting the cutting-edge solutions available today. Carlo Hruby, vice-president of the Enzo Hruby Foundation, emphasized the importance of spreading a culture of security and presented the Foundation’s main activities, including the numerous projects supported to protect as many assets and monuments of the Italian cultural heritage and the intense training activities aimed at young people and professionals working in the field of cultural heritage.
Other key contributions were offered by Major Mattia Ivano Losciale, Commander of the Carabinieri TPC Unit in Ancona, who explained the role of the Corps in protecting cultural heritage, and by Captain Francesco Tessitore, Commander of the San Benedetto del Tronto Company, and Marshal Giuseppe Amoroso, Acting Commander of the Carabinieri Barracks in Ripatransone, who reiterated the importance of cooperation between institutions and law enforcement in protecting cultural heritage.
The final session of the event provided food for thought on the future of cultural heritage security. All students and their teachers received a copy of the book entitled La bellezza sfregiata, un patrimonio da difendere, a recent publication of the Fondazione Enzo Hruby, which explores the topic of vandalism and solutions to prevent and counteract such acts.
“The protection of our artistic heritage can be fully achieved through education, the use of the advanced technologies we have today, and the shared commitment of institutions, police forces, schools, and companies.” said Carlo Hruby. “The excellent synergy that made this event possible is an excellent example of this”.
“I am firmly convinced that our duty towards history is not only to remember it, but also to do our utmost to hand it down intact to future generations.” added Giorgio Finaurini. “Thanks to innovation, today we can protect our cultural heritage in ways that would once have been unthinkable”.
